Abraham Spear was conceived during a hurricane in the backwaters of the bayou outside of New Orleans. His extended family taught him about knife throwing, guns, and fire during the summer months.
During his first job, as a butcher, at the age of 14 Abe had an epiphany that there must be something better for him out there than hacking up farm animals. "I know, I'll make movies!!" he thought. And so it all began.
While directing a music video for the band GWAR, Abe finally learned to spit fire. Recently, Abe's commercial "Giant Monster," for the British Columbia Dairy Foundation, was nominated for an Annie Award by the International Animated Film Society.
