Michael Wright joined Curious Pictures in January 2008 on the heels of completing his most recent short film, "Big Range," which demonstrates his skill with both actors and animation. His work specializes in combining cg or stop-frame animation, including clay, with live action.
Michael lives in Bristol, England, where he formerly directed
commercials through Aardman Animations. His advertising work has won many awards, including a D&AD Pencil and a Cannes Silver, and his short films have been honored at many international film festivals.
Michael, who studied filmmaking and fine art at Coventry University, started out in the business as a set designer and art director.
Michael also is represented by Partizan in London and Paris.
